　　1) Secure the outer foot of the coupling motor on the fixed hoisting fitting side, and move the inner foot until the eccentricity between the motor and pump centers is zero. To ensure that the motor does not move arbitrarily, after securing the motor foot on one side, the other side should be supported with a set screw. (2) Secure the inner foot of the coupling, and move the outer foot to make the eccentricity between the two center lines zero. (3) After repeating the above two methods several times, the coupling can be in a good alignment state. Alignment of the hoisting fitting coupling is an important task during equipment maintenance. Although the alignment principle is simple, it is highly practical. Common alignment methods frequently used on small machinery pumps include the single-dial method, double-dial method, and three-dial method, etc. Regardless of the method, they all share a common characteristic: alignment in the horizontal plane is more prone to errors than in the vertical plane, requiring more repetition, consuming more time, and involving cumbersome calculations.
